Who We Are
Sumediang is the Bakossi Women’s Cultural and Development Association (USA), a national community of Bakossi women committed to preserving culture, strengthening sisterhood, developing leaders, and supporting initiatives that improve lives.
Our Purpose
We create a space where women can connect across generations, preserve Bakossi identity, support one another, mentor young women, and mobilize skills and resources for meaningful cultural and development work.
Our Guiding Spirit
Peace & Harmony is more than a slogan. It reflects the spirit in which we seek to serve, collaborate, resolve differences, celebrate our heritage, and build a stronger organization for future generations.
